Relive Our 5th Make Music Day Celebration
On Wednesday 24 June 2026, we celebrated our fifth Make Music Day event at York St John University. With temperatures above 30°C, it was certainly hot but that didn't stop it from being an enjoyable, inspiring, and memorable day!
More than 400 children from 10 of our partner schools joined us, along with partners and supporters, for a fantastic day of music making and celebration.
A great time was had by all - with feedback from children including:

A huge thank you to the talented and hard-working musicians who provided an incredible array of musical workshops for our children! From Japanese drumming to Indian ragas - there really was something for everyone, and the quality was amazing.
Our partner school teachers told us:

We were delighted to welcome our supporters and partners to our 2026 Make Music Day event. The work we do is made possible by the generosity and enthusiasm of our supporters, and it was wonderful to give them the opportunity to see the impact of their support brought to life.
