    Ryedale Festival Community Song Cycle

As part of our ongoing work with the Ryedale Festival, the Richard Shephard Music Foundation is supporting the development of a Community Song Cycle, with a performance of this year’s piece taking place on Saturday 8th June 2024. We are offering children and schools from the local area the chance to take part in the concert, and the songwriting workshops beforehand. • Make Music Day

Every year, we join other musical organisations around the world by celebrating Make Music Day! On Friday 21st June 2024, we will be running an event to celebrate all the hard work our pupils have put into their music sessions this year. Keep an eye on our social media for more information about the day: Instagram | Facebook | Twitter

  • Thinking ahead ....

After our great success in 2023, we will be taking part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge again! This year, the campaign will take place between 3rd-10th December 2024. Any donations made during this time will be doubled by our match funding – so please do consider making us your Christmas cause in 2024.

During the campaign week, we will be at events across the region to promote the work of the Foundation. Please keep an eye on our social media pages for information closer to the time.
